Alberta Update

On January 31, the Wade White team came out with yet another victory, claiming the 2010 TCTECA Alberta Championship, repeating for the second year in a row.
The team which consisted of Wade White (Skip), Kevin Tym (Third), Jim Hooper (Second) and Brad Sinclair (Lead), defeated the Barry Siwak rink with John MacDonald, Len Epp and Neil Patterson in the final. The Siwak rink, came out of the “B”, defeated the White rink forcing a tie-breaker on Sunday, which after a good battle, succumbed to the White rink. Congratulations to the White rink who will represent Alberta proudly in Saint John.
Grant Cook will represent Alberta as the Senior Delegate and Bob Kishimoto will attend as an Observer as Co-Host Chairman of the 2011 Championship in Edmonton. The Junior Delegate has not yet been named and will be announced as soon as possible.
