Kelowna hosts 2012 TCTECA Telus BC Playdowns:

The BC Telus provincial playdowns were held November 25 – 27, 2011 at the Kelowna Curling Club. Once again four teams made up of members from various locations in BC participated. The competition was keen with all teams giving their best efforts to be the one to represent BC at the 2012 TCTECA National Championship in Thunder Bay March 13 – 18, 2012.

In the end Team Mertens prevailed in a final hard fought Sunday afternoon game against the Craig Nixon team. Congratulations are extended to the Wayne Mertens team (Wayne Mertens, Dave Nichols, Bill Levey, Clayton Underwood).

The team and provincial delegate Skip Watson look forward to the opportunity of renewing friendships and enjoying the hospitality of our hosts at tbaytel. Good luck and good curling!
